Steel universal drive shaft for AX10 Deadbolt service

This steel universal drive shaft is an RC-scale replacement for AX10 Deadbolt platforms and is supplied in orange. It is intended as a direct swap when a steel universal is preferred for maintenance and driveline tuning.

Fit and role: compatible with Axial Racing AX10 Deadbolt models, the shaft replaces worn plastic or alloy parts to restore correct driveline geometry and provide a consistent connection between gearbox and axles in everyday use.

Installation notes: standard disassembly of the front or rear driveline and removal of the existing shaft is required before fitting. Verify retention pins, set screws, or U-joint interfaces for compatibility and follow chassis manufacturer torque recommendations. No additional hardware or tools are included.

Specifications

  • Item: Universal drive shaft
  • Material: Steel
  • Model Number: AX10-24007-OR
  • Compatibility: Axial Racing AX10 Deadbolt

Use this component when replacing axle-to-gearbox shafts on AX10 Deadbolt projects or when a steel shaft is desired for maintenance and tuning purposes.

Compare the interface points on your vehicle to the OEM AX10 Deadbolt universal dimensions; confirm pin diameter and joint seating before proceeding with installation.
Clean the mating areas, remove burrs, and inspect fasteners. Apply appropriate thread locking or anti-seize where recommended by your chassis documentation.
The finish is cosmetic and may show wear over time under heavy use; this does not alter the structural properties of the steel shaft itself.
A sound steel shaft removes one potential source of drivetrain inconsistency, which can reduce certain vibration sources; however, full vibration diagnosis should include gearbox, bearings, and suspension checks.
