Dedicated aluminium gearbox roll mount for SCX-10

This aluminium roll mount is a scale RC accessory designed for the Axial SCX-10 Honcho and Dingo chassis. It replaces the factory plastic mounting area around the gearbox to provide a more stable anchor point for the gearbox when tackling rough terrain.

Intended as a tuning upgrade rather than a full mechanical revision, the machined piece increases chassis rigidity and helps maintain gearbox position under load. The black finish keeps a scale look while offering light resistance to trail abrasion.

Installation notes: fitment uses the existing SCX-10 gearbox mounting points and is suited to users familiar with basic drivetrain removal and reassembly. No additional hardware or tools are supplied with this cost-conscious upgrade.

Is this made for the Honcho and Dingo only?

The mount is designed around the Axial SCX-10 Honcho and Dingo gearbox layout; check your chassis mounting points if you have a different SCX-10 variant.

Will the part change how the drivetrain performs?

By stiffening the gearbox attachment it reduces movement and can make drivetrain feedback more predictable during tuning, while not modifying internal gearbox settings.
