This machined 6061 aluminum servo mount is manufactured for the Axial SCX10 II chassis and listed as JR-AS206. It replaces flexible plastic mounting solutions to stabilise the servo during slow, technical crawling and rough terrain driving.
The unit mounts the servo at the chassis' original location for SCX10 II and provides a robust base for the servo horn and linkage. The firmer mounting helps maintain steering predictability under load or when manoeuvring over obstacles.
Installation uses the SCX10 II mounting points: remove any required body panels, seat the mount in the servo bay, align the servo, and secure with the chassis screw points. Confirm horn alignment and travel before final tightening to prevent binding.
As an upgrade, the aluminum mount increases stiffness compared with standard plastic parts, which can improve steering consistency and make trim changes more reliable when testing servos or suspension configurations.
