This gunmetal aluminum servo saver is an RC-scale replacement produced by JAZRIDER for the Axial Yeti chassis. It replaces plastic servo saver components with a machined aluminum assembly to reduce flex at the steering linkage and provide a firmer interface between the servo output and the steering geometry.
Installation follows familiar steps for 1/10 rock racers: remove the stock saver, move any reusable hardware and the servo horn across, fit the aluminum saver to the servo spline, then set centring and check steering throw before final tightening. The part is intended to work within the existing Axial Yeti steering layout without modifying chassis members.
As an upgrade the aluminum saver reduces deformation under load to improve steering repeatability and alters perceived steering stiffness versus softer stock pieces, which helps when fine tuning steering feel or running more powerful servos.
Install this unit to achieve a firmer servo-to-linkage interface on Axial Yeti kits; confirm spline compatibility and linkage geometry during fitting and re-check centring after the first run.
