Aftermarket aluminium steering mount for Promoto-MX

This anodized aluminium steering holder is supplied as model JR-LMX05-PU and is intended as an RC-scale replacement for the Team Losi Promoto-MX motorcycle chassis steering mount. It replaces the stock plastic piece to produce a stiffer, wear-resistant interface between the steering assembly and the front fork on Promoto-MX dirt bikes.

Intended specifically for Promoto-MX motorcycles, the part is an easy hop-up for builders looking to swap the original plastic mount for metal. It helps preserve steering alignment under repeated inputs and assists setup when adjusting steering throw and centring.

Fitment uses the original screw locations. Remove the stock steering holder, align the aluminium unit with the steering shaft and fork tabs, reinstall the existing hex screws and verify free movement of the steering link and servo horn. Typically no additional hardware or trimming is required for standard Promoto-MX chassis.

For setup, verify steering centring after installation, check for any binding through full lock, and retorque hardware after an initial break-in. This component is designed for RC dirt bike use only and does not change servo, ESC, or motor functions.
