The JR-LB08-LB package contains a machined aluminium servo saver and matching aluminium tie rods engineered for use with the TAMIYA CW-01 Lunch Box chassis. These metal parts reduce compliance compared with factory plastic components, delivering a firmer steering input and improved repeatability in regular use.
Installation follows standard CW-01 procedures. The servo saver uses a 25T spline common to many steering servos, while the tie rods use the usual ball joint and threaded connections found on Lunch Box knuckles. Verify spline seating and thread engagement at assembly to prevent binding.
When tuning, expect crisper steering and less play than stock parts, which benefits setups that use stronger servos or more aggressive steering rates on the CW-01 platform.
