Made for the TAMIYA DT-03 chassis, this kit pairs an aluminum 25T hi-torque servo saver with a matched aluminum tie rod set to upgrade steering from plastic to metal components for a firmer, more consistent feel.
The 25T spline saver installs between the servo output and steering linkage to protect the servo while reducing compliance. Upgraded tie rods lower flex and allow more precise toe and steering geometry adjustments during setup.
Basic installation: fit the saver onto a 25T servo spline and fasten per DT-03 steering assembly locations, adjust tie rod lengths evenly to set neutral toe, and confirm full steering travel to prevent binding. Use small incremental tie rod changes to tune steering center and toe without disturbing other suspension settings.
