This aluminium front upright fits the TAMIYA DT-03 RC chassis and is listed under model JR-DT306-BK. As an aftermarket replacement for the stock plastic upright, it increases stiffness at the front end and refines steering response while preserving the chassis geometry.

The upright functions as the steering knuckle and wheel hub carrier, supporting the wheel hex and linking to the steering linkage and lower suspension arms. Aluminium at the mounting points reduces flex and can provide a more direct steering feel on sealed surfaces and organised circuits.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the original uprights, move any wheel hexes and bearings across, and attach the JR-DT306-BK uprights using the existing mounting points and screws. After installation, verify steering ball link geometry and wheel clearance, and ensure the servo horn and tie rods move without binding.
