Rear underguard upgrade for Hornet EVO

This aluminium rear underguard is intended as an RC-scale replacement for the TAMIYA Hornet EVO (58742) chassis and is referenced as JR-THNE03-BK. The aluminium panel provides a durable, black anodised contact surface beneath the rear section to take wear that would otherwise affect the stock plastic undertray.

Fitting uses the Hornet EVO’s existing rear mounting points and identical screw locations to the original undertray, enabling direct replacement without altering chassis geometry. When installing, ensure hole alignment and consider thread-lock on steel screws for a secure assembly; avoid overtightening to protect adjacent plastic parts.

Used primarily for protection and modestly increased rear stiffness, this underguard spreads impact loads and improves chassis durability. It is best regarded as a protective upgrade rather than a major handling modification.
