This aluminum steering assembly with bearing is an RC replacement part intended for compatibility with the TAMIYA Hornet EVO (58742) chassis. Manufactured as JR-THNE04-GU, the unit replaces stock plastic steering elements with a stiffer metal assembly to affect steering feedback and longevity.

The component includes precision-mounted bearings to reduce play at steering pivots and a gun metal finish on the aluminium parts. It functions as a direct-fit option where original mounting and linkage geometry match, and is intended for 1/10 scale buggy use only.

Installation requires removing the front steering linkage to extract the stock pieces and fitting the JR-THNE04-GU assembly, taking care to confirm clearance around the servo horn and suspension links. After installation, check servo centring and steering throw to ensure proper integration.
