Aftermarket Rear Shock Tower for TA01/TA02

The JR-TA105-GU is an aluminium rear shock tower for 1/10 scale RC vehicles that use the Tamiya TA01 or TA02 rear mounting pattern. The gun metal finish provides corrosion resistance while keeping a compact rear bulkhead profile.

Designed as an aftermarket replacement, this tower aligns with the TA01 and TA02 rear mounting points for direct installation where the stock plastic tower sits. The aluminium offers a firmer mounting point for shocks and helps maintain alignment when the chassis is under load.

Installation guidance: remove rear bodywork and the factory tower, reuse compatible hardware, and install the tower making sure shock absorbers and linkage clearances are correct. Confirm shock travel and wheel alignment after installation to ensure the setup is as expected.

Tuning notes: upgrading to an aluminium tower reduces flex at the rear mounts and provides a stable base for trying different shock positions and roll adjustments. It is suited to fine tuning rather than dramatic chassis changes.
