The JR-TA102-BK aluminium motor mount is an RC replacement item for Tamiya TA01, TA02 and DF01 chassis. It supplies a rigid surface for the motor to maintain alignment with the spur and pinion gear train and does not claim particular performance increases. The component is for model use only.

Fitment is straightforward for those familiar with Tamiya touring car assemblies: remove the stock mount, line this aluminium plate up with the chassis fixing points, and normally reuse your existing motor mounting hardware. Will this change drivetrain wear characteristics?
