Precision motor mount for TAMIYA TA01/TA02/DF01

This gun metal aluminium motor mount is produced to fit TAMIYA TA01, TA02 and DF01 chassis, finished in gun metal. It functions as a dedicated replacement or upgrade to provide a stiffer mounting surface compared with standard plastic components, helping maintain motor position under load.

Installation is straightforward for standard TA01/TA02/DF01 layouts that use the factory motor box mounting points. Align the motor and check pinion-to-spur mesh before final tightening, keep screws at recommended torque to avoid stripping, and verify shaft alignment after mounting. The part relies on existing chassis holes and standard hardware; no additional tools or fittings are included.

In tuning terms this mount stabilises motor alignment to reduce mesh changes during hard acceleration or braking, which can improve drivetrain consistency and make gear mesh adjustments more predictable during setup sessions on touring or drift tracks.

Order shipped very quickly, the items look very good, they answer when you ask them questions... Really positive experience, very serious. Thank you jazrider.
The mount is manufactured for the common TA01, TA02 and DF01 motor box layouts. Measure the hole pattern against your chassis if you have any doubt before final installation.
No extras are included. The design uses the existing motor box mounting holes and standard hardware; source replacement screws if the originals are worn or inappropriate for metal-to-chassis mounting.
Set motor position, fit pinion and spur, check mesh with thin paper, and then tighten fasteners gradually while rechecking engagement. After initial runs recheck mesh as small seating shifts can occur.
