TA-02 Aftermarket Aluminum Drive Shaft

This aluminum main drive shaft with an integrated joint is provided as a scale RC replacement for the TAMIYA TA-02 chassis. The machined aluminum shaft transmits rotational loads between gearbox output and drivetrain linkages and arrives in a light blue finish to suit common visual upgrades.

Installation follows standard procedures for experienced modelers: remove the stock plastic shaft, inspect bearings and seals, then position the aluminum shaft and secure the joint using the TA-02 hardware. The item is an accessory for RC use and must be fitted with chassis-specific fasteners.

Used in tuning and maintenance, the shaft replaces a softer stock component to restore drivetrain geometry and present a more durable bearing surface during normal hobby operation. After initial runs, check set screws, spline engagement, and surrounding bearings to confirm alignment.
