This aluminium front stabilizer holder is a direct-fit upgrade for TAMIYA Thunder Dragon and Thunder Shot, replacing the weaker plastic bracket with a more stable metal option. It secures the front stabilizer bar to reduce mount flex, giving more reliable front roll behavior when tuning.
Installation uses the existing front bulkhead points and the stock stabilizer rod ends. Remove the original holder, align the JR-TSD01-RD unit to the factory holes, and fasten using the original screws and hardware. Confirm clearance around the suspension arms and steering linkages before final tightening to avoid binding during full travel.
From a setup perspective, the aluminium holder makes minor stabilizer adjustments produce clearer handling changes, which helps when refining front-end balance or combining with upgraded shocks and steering parts.
Maintenance: recheck mounting screw torque regularly and inspect mating surfaces for any wear. While aluminium resists bending, it can transfer greater loads to nearby plastic components, so verify surrounding parts after fitting.
