Traxxas TRX-4 Portal Outer Housing, machined aluminium upgrade JR-TRX406-BK by Jazrider  [JR-TRX406-BK]

This is an RC-scale replacement outer portal drive housing intended for Traxxas TRX-4 vehicles and offered by JAZRIDER as model JR-TRX406-BK. The component is supplied as a front/rear outer portal housing in black machined aluminium for scale and trail crawler builds where metal housings are preferred to stock plastics.

The aluminium build reduces flex at the portal mounting face and helps keep axle alignment under load, which benefits installs involving heavier axle upgrades or aftermarket portal gears by limiting movement that can cause premature wear.

Installation notes: remove the wheel, unbolt the existing outer portal housing per TRX-4 disassembly steps, carry across any internal bearings or seals from the original part if needed, then fit the JAZRIDER aluminium housing and secure with the factory fasteners. Confirm driveline alignment and smooth rotation prior to final tightening. Standard hand tools such as hex drivers are normally enough.
