This aluminium servo saver and tie rod assembly is produced as a direct replacement for the stock plastic steering saver on Tamiya TT-02 and TT-02B chassis. The saver uses a 25T spline for common high-torque servos and aluminium tie rods to stiffen the steering linkage for improved response.
Designed role: the kit protects the servo output from impact while providing a firmer linkage to reduce unwanted movement, working within the TT-02/TT-02B steering geometry to deliver consistent steering input to the knuckles.
Installation advice: mount the saver onto the existing 25T servo spline and install the tie rods in place of the original linkage ends. Minor turnbuckle adjustments or link trimming may be needed to re-establish correct toe and steering centring. Verify spline engagement and thread seating to prevent binding.
Handling note: aluminium components reduce flex compared with plastic, producing firmer steering feedback and more predictable behaviour under load, which helps when refining steering response or running stiffer front-end setups.
